What we do
The Planning and Zoning Commission reviews planning, subdivision and zoning applications, and formulates recommendations for the City Council. State statutes require that each city or town establish a Planning and Zoning Commission for reviewing development proposals prior to Council action.
The Mayor and City Council appoint the Commission members for three (3) year terms. The Commission meets the third Wednesday of each month at 7:00 P.M. at the Goodyear Justice Center, 185 North 145th Avenue, (southeast corner of 145th Avenue and Van Buren Street), Goodyear, AZ.
